Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead major utility projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and risk, coordinate with IOUs and IPPs, and drive QA/QC across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.

You have 12+ years in project management for power delivery, strong communication with executives, and a track record of staff mentoring. Travel to client sites is expected, with hybrid regional work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in a project management or senior technical leadership role in power delivery.
• Strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle in A/E/C and utility industries.
• Analytical and organizational skills with business and commercial acumen.
• Advanced communication with executive leadership and utility clients.
• Self-leadership, accountability, and adherence to QA/QC and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Power Delivery project management leadership for large-scale utility projects.
• Develop stakeholder engagement and reporting strategies for status, risks, and performance.
• Support pursuit, startup phases, pricing strategies, and risk mitigation planning.
• Lead contract negotiations, client presentations, and scope alignment discussions.
• Enforce QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with utility standards.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and staff; manage staffing and resources.
• Maintain project governance updates and monthly client reporting.
• Oversee project closeout, financial closeout, and lessons learned.
