Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV substation and transmission line engineering projects across the South and Southwest. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships from proposal through closeout, delivering value and ensuring delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy market.
• 12+ years of post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility industry.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for HV/EHV substations or transmission projects.
• Experience with contract management, risk management and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV substation and transmission line projects, including scope, budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and report progress to clients and leadership.
• Lead pursuit initiatives, go/no-go decisions, and contract reviews when needed.
• Lead or participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
• Ensure QA/QC, risk management, and technical reviews with qualified staff.
• Provide strategic inputs to multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff.
