Tyson Foods in Wilkesboro, NC seeks a Production Operations Manager to drive cost control and ensure compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA regulations while enforcing company policies and guiding shift operations.

The role requires leadership in supervising production teams, maintaining records, and collaborating with department heads to meet safety and quality goals. Occasional travel is possible as part of plant objectives.

Formación

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a related industry; 5+ years poultry supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations.
• Proficient in standard computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interact effectively with team members and officials.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Control expenses and ensure compliance with federal meat inspection, OSHA, and company policies.
• Maintain the non-union program and assess manpower needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Solve problems effectively and follow up on actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Oversee housekeeping, safety, sanitation, security, and food safety standards.
• Manage, evaluate, and train production supervisors.
• Lead designated shift operations and handle other responsibilities assigned by the plant manager.
