Job summary

Tyson Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Production Manager for 2nd shift to oversee production processes, ensure safety, quality, and yields, and maintain accurate records. You will lead a team of production supervisors and collaborate with department heads.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. Relocation is eligible; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years' related experience in manufacturing; food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to manage production processes, maintenance, shipping/receiving, sanitation, quality, safety and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team through hiring, training, and retention strategies.
• Guide shift operations and ensure staffing before production starts.
• Ensure compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain records and reports; ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Supervise production supervisors and conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Collaborate with department heads to meet production quality and yield goals.
