Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Senior Production Manager for 2nd shift in our Prepared Foods division. You will lead a high-performing team, drive production yields, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met across the shift. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and experience managing plant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' related experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of production processes, maintenance, shipping/receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, safety and material management.
• Ability to operate in a supervisory role for plant-wide operations in absence of Plant Manager.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing shift team through hiring, training and retention.
• Oversee shift operations, staffing, and workstation assignments to meet production goals.
• Ensure compliance with USDA/industry safety and quality standards; maintain records and reports.
• Drive continuous improvement and achieve quality, safety and yield targets.
• Manage production supervisors and promote a safe work environment.
