Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Portfolio Delivery Leader (PDL) in the Public Sector, within Professional Services' Delivery Account Management. You will oversee a defined portfolio of paid engagements, ensuring delivery health, financial performance, and executive relationships across multiple teams.

The role balances direct client engagement with portfolio governance, aiming to protect margin and drive measurable outcomes for mission-focused customers.

Qualifications

• Direct portfolio delivery across engagements with outcomes responsibility.
• Strong financial acumen including revenue forecasting and margins.
• Proven ability to build executive relationships and stabilize at-risk engagements.
• Experience assessing deal readiness before contract execution.
• Ability to drive decisions across a matrix org without direct authority.
• Strong escalation management and executive communication skills.
• Experience governing fixed-fee delivery and margins.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio health with forward-looking engagement views and measurable results.
• Validate deals for delivery readiness and ensure scope, estimates, and staffing align.
• Protect revenue and margin through weekly forecasts and action plans.
• Lead SDS reviews and clearly explain red/yellow engagements and risks.
• Build executive confidence with sponsors and leadership; align to outcomes.
• Escalate and manage recovery plans; govern high-risk engagements.
• Coordinate capacity and staffing with Delivery Engagement Leads.
