Volkert, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer/Construction Manager to support the Maritime and Port service line in the Gulf Coast region.

The role may be located in any Gulf Coast office in Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana with regional travel and remote work as needed. The Senior Engineer/Construction Manager will lead design and construction management for port/maritime projects, including regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Port Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in design/construction PM on large port/maritime projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.
• Ability to travel regionally and work in Gulf Coast offices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design engineer for port and maritime projects from concept through design and bid package.
• Manage and deliver construction of port and maritime projects.
• Represent client and subconsultants in project execution.
• Prepare a Project Execution Plan (PEP) and staffing requirements.
• Conduct kickoff meetings and ensure QA/QC.
• Maintain field coordination with rail operators and safety protocols.
• Monitor progress and issue monthly progress reports.
