Job summary

Kin Insurance operates as a remote-first employer with Kinfolk across 35+ states, expanding policy forms for personal auto and property lines. We seek a Policy Forms Senior Analyst to lead complex state packages and draft forms ready for filing, working with counsel and regulators.

We value 5+ years of drafting experience, direct state statute translation into policy language, and the ability to own drafts end-to-end in a fast-growing, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting personal lines policy forms for multiple states.
• Ability to translate state statutes into clear policy language.

Responsibilities

• Tackle complex new-state packages and develop drafting approach for the team.
• Draft complete state and product forms packages ready for filing.
• Build and maintain countrywide base forms and reusable state kits.
• Research state statutes and translate into compliant policy wording.
• Draft responses to regulator objections and participate in discussions with counsel.
• Own drafts from research to attorney-approved final.
• Establish drafting standards and reusable language for faster state packages.
• Lead internal knowledge sharing on Kin's policy forms.
• Serve as backup drafter for other lines of business.
• Use Kin’s AI-assisted tools and apply human judgment to review outputs.
