Kin Insurance is seeking an Insurance Counsel - Forms to lead drafting for personal auto or property forms as Kin expands into new states and products. You will draft base policies, endorsements, notices, and act as the drafting owner for your line.

You’ll advise internal partners on coverage interpretation, respond to regulator objections, and ensure filing-ready forms while maintaining nationwide form kits and standards.

Qualifications

• JD required with 5+ years of policy form drafting experience.
• Experience drafting personal lines policy forms for multiple states.
• Ability to read statutes/regulations and translate into policy language.
• Experience drafting responses to regulator objections and advising stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Research state statutes and draft compliant, clear policy wording.
• Draft responses to regulator objections on forms and advocate Kin's position.
• Provide coverage interpretation advice to internal partners and during audits.
• Draft complete new state and product forms packages for your line.
• Review forms and escalate novel state law questions as needed.
• Maintain base forms and state kit for your line and establish standards.
