Job summary
HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transmission Routing & Siting to lead and deliver complex routing and siting studies for electric transmission projects. You will collaborate with utility and developer teams, regulators, and landowners to develop defensible routes and sites while guiding scope, schedule, and budget.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in routing/siting, expert witness testimony, and a track record of managing large, multi-disciplinary projects within a growing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years of experience in linear projects
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for transmission projects
- Coordinate with utility staff, developers, consultants
- Engage with regulators, government agencies, and landowners
- Prepare testimony and technical documentation for route and site selection
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Develop junior staff and client relationships
- Travel 10-20% of the time
