Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager (Power Transmission Routing & Siting) to lead buildable routing and siting solutions for electric transmission projects.

You will work with utility and developer teams and coordinate with regulators and landowners to advance regional and national infrastructure. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in routing, siting and permitting for electric facilities, with experience guiding expert testimony.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on linear projects involving land acquisition, routing or environmental planning.
• At least 5 years of project management experience and strong proposal/scope/budget skills.
• Experience with regulatory applications and expert witness testimony is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for utility and developer infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project teams including utility staff and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical docs for route and site selection.
• Monitor project scope, schedule and budget; manage client deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and build client relationships.
• Travel 10-20% as part of project requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed.
