Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Power Transmission Routing & Siting practice to lead complex routing and siting projects across multiple states.

You will partner with utility staff, regulators, and landowners to develop buildable solutions and defend route selections. The ideal candidate has a strong background in routing and siting for electric facilities, with experience in expert witness testimony and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software.
• Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for electric transmission.
• Lead project teams including utility staff and consultants.
• Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
• Prepare testimony and technical documentation for route and site selection.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
• Build relationships with HDR and utility staff.
• Travel 10-20% of the time; perform other duties as needed.
