Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Transmission Routing & Siting in the United States. You will lead routing and siting efforts for electric transmission projects, coordinate with utility staff, regulators, landowners and consultants, and guide teams to develop buildable solutions that meet scope, schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in routing, siting and regulatory approvals for electric facilities, plus experience providing expert witness testimony.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
10 years related experience.
5+ years in project management.
Experience with routing, siting and regulatory approvals for electric facilities.

Responsibilities

Develop buildable routing and siting solutions for utility and developer infrastructure.
Collaborate with project teams including utility staff and consultants.
Engage with government agencies, regulators, communities and landowners.
Prepare testimony and technical documentation for line routes and site selection.
Monitor project scope, schedule and budget.
Mentor and develop junior staff for client deliverables.
Build relationships with HDR and utility staff.
Travel 10–20% of the time.
