Job summary

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Senior Project Manager in Lake Charles, LA to lead complex Industrial & Manufacturing projects. You will direct project outcomes, manage safety, budgets, schedules, and risk, and coordinate with owners, design teams and subcontractors.

You’ll drive preconstruction, buyout, submittals, and change management while maintaining profitability and enforcing JE Dunn’s values and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
10+ years construction management experience.
Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Willingness to work nontraditional hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Leads all aspects of the project’s safety culture and mentors staff.
Oversees preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff and bid package development.
Manages submittal schedule and approvals of shop drawings.
Develops and updates project schedules to meet budget and timeline.
Leads monthly project reviews and Owner Architect meetings.
Provides regular reporting on project status and profitability.
Prepares cost and margin forecasts and participates in budget development.
Interfaces with owners, subcontractors, and design teams.
