Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager for large-scale industrial EPC projects in Houston, onsite with 70% travel. Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating clients, field ops and subcontractors to achieve safety, schedule and budget goals.

Electrical or mechanical construction expertise is required, with strong project controls, risk management, and contract negotiation skills. PMP and OSHA 30 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction, including at least 5 years managing complex projects.
• Experience leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects in data centers, oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical construction, contracts, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for the successful execution of large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects, overseeing all phases from preconstruction and budgeting through project closeout.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, profitability, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with objectives, schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as primary point of contact for performance, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
