Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical or mechanical EPC construction projects in the Houston area.

The role requires onsite work with 70% travel and per diem, coordinating clients, engineers, field crews, and subcontractors from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive project performance, manage budgets and schedules, enforce safety standards, and mentor a growing PM team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical, mechanical, industrial EPC construction.
• 5+ years leading multimillion-dollar projects with financial/operational responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience in data centers, oil & gas, petrochemical, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
• PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay onsite as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, profitability, change management, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate project teams, superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to align with objectives and schedules.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders; handle contract negotiations and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, codes, quality requirements, and contractual specs.
• Mentor project managers and engineers; collaborate on process improvement and growth.
