Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a Senior Project Manager for industrial EPC projects, onsite in Houston with 70% travel. You will lead large electrical or mechanical construction efforts from preconstruction through closeout and coordinate with clients, executives, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure peak performance.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical/mechanical/construction, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and a PMP/OSHA background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction.
• Demonstrated success leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, financial management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, and risk mitigation.
• PMP certification, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for the successful execution of large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage project financial performance, budgets, cash flow, and reporting while identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet objectives and contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, general contractors, and stakeholders as primary contact for project performance.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, codes, and quality requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and engineers while collaborating on process improvements.
