Job summary

Your Talent Team in Houston is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical or mechanical EPC construction projects onsite, with 70% travel. You will steer all phases from preconstruction to closeout, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor project teams while coordinating with clients and executives.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in engineering or construction management, 10+ years in relevant fields, and PMP/OSHA credentials.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction.
• At least 5 years managing complex, large-scale construction projects with significant financial and operational responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects.
• PMP certification, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for the successful execution of large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to align with objectives and contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, general contractors, and key stakeholders as the primary contact for performance and negotiations.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and project specifications; promote a proactive safety culture.
• Mentor project managers and engineers while driving process improvements and operational growth.
