Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a Senior Project Manager for industrial EPC projects in Houston, onsite with 70% travel. You will lead electrical or mechanical construction efforts across preconstruction to closeout, liaising with clients, executives, field teams and subcontractors.

The role requires 10+ years in construction, strong budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and a PMP/OSHA background. Travel, per diem, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams are key aspects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction with significant financial and operational responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical or mechanical construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to align with objectives, schedules, and contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure safety standards, OSHA regulations, and quality requirements are met.
• Mentor and develop project managers and engineers; identify process improvements.
