Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for large-scale industrial electrical or mechanical EPC projects. The role is onsite in Houston with 70% travel, and per diem is provided.

You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinate clients, owners, general contractors, and subs, and drive performance, safety, and team development. A background in electrical or mechanical disciplines and strong financial management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent combinations of education and industry experience accepted.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or EPC construction.
• 5+ years managing large-scale construction projects with significant financial and operational responsibility.
• PMP certification and OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to align with objectives and contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, GCs, and stakeholders; lead negotiations and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, and material management to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and company policies; promote a proactive safety culture.
• Mentor project managers and engineers; drive process improvements and business growth.
