Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial EPC projects in electrical or mechanical construction in Houston. The role requires onsite work with 70% travel and per diem provided.

You will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating clients, leadership, field teams, and subcontractors to achieve performance and safety goals. Candidates with Mechanical/Civil/Structural or Electrical expertise and PMP/OSHA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction, incl. 5+ years leading complex projects.
• Experience leading multimillion-dollar electrical or mechanical construction projects in data centers, crypto mining, oil/gas, petrochemical, refining, power generation, or large infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical construction disciplines; safety standards like OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project financial performance: budgets, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and risk.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, field operations, subcontractors, and vendors for objective achievement.
• Develop relationships with clients, owners, and stakeholders as primary contract and performance contact.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, material management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, quality and contractual specs; promote proactive safety culture.
• Mentor and coach project managers and engineers; identify process improvements and growth opportunities.
