Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution and IT initiatives. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety for projects ranging from $250K to $15M, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The role requires CAPM/PMP and a engineering or business background, plus a proven ability to deliver on time. Expect stakeholder communication at all levels and extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years; PMP acceptable.
• Demonstrated success at managing projects across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with budgets from $250K to $15M across transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and safety performance; develop recovery plans as needed.
• Coordinate with sponsors, stakeholders and executives; present updates regularly.
• Coach and guide team members to complete tasks on time; allocate resources.
• Ensure alignment with organizational initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; handle conflicts.
• Identify requirements and manage project plans from initiation to closeout.
• Support extended hours during storms or energy delivery emergencies.
