Job summary

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of Engineering/design experience in the building design industry.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited four-year College or University.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with plumbing and fire protection engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Project Lead on multiple project phases including feasibility, design, and documentation.
• Mentors and guides junior designers and engineers on project execution.
• Defines scope of work, budget and staffing with the Project Manager.
• Prepares and reviews design drawings, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Coordinates project documents internally and with clients and other design professionals.
