Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer (5–15 years) to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The role involves developing contract drawings, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering design documentation for a variety of facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license or eligibility, and experience with Revit (3D) and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain PE in any U.S. state.
• Minimum of 5 years in plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel within New England.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects.
• Field investigations, shop drawing reviews, and reports.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, vendors and clients.
• Capable of leading junior staff and working both independently and in a team.
