Job summary

IPS - Integrated Project Services, LLC seeks a Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to lead sophisticated facility designs in life sciences from Cherry Hill, NJ, Somerset, NJ, Germantown, MD, or Blue Bell, PA. You will drive drainage, utility, and fire protection layouts, review calculations, and coordinate with clients and teams.

The role emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and adherence to codes and project budgets, with frequent client interaction and presentation of design

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited college.
• 8–10 years engineering/design experience in the building design industry.
• Expertise with AutoCAD/Revit and applicable codes.
• Experience with plumbing/fire protection calculations and different piping materials.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Project Lead on all phases of work, including feasibility, design, and documentation.
• Defines project scope, budget, and staffing with the Project Manager.
• Prepares reports, specifications, and supports construction.
• Mentors Designers and Engineers new to the practice.
• Coordinates with clients and other design professionals and reviews drawings.
