Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Able to read, debug, and extend code in Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of APIs, event-driven patterns, asynchronous processing and failure handling.
• Hands-on observability: logging, metrics, tracing and alerting in production.
• Experience operating services on cloud infrastructure with containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• A maintenance-and-reliability mindset with well-documented code.
• Clear communicator able to explain complex systems to engineers and non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Cross-stack maintenance across the full platform and component integration.
• Monitor platform health, investigate production issues, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Design and ship focused features and technical improvements for reliability.
• Extend logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for visibility in production.
• Profile and tune components under load to support growth and scale.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Collaborate with delivery pods and Decision Intelligence for long-term ownership.
