The role requires 5+ years of software engineering, expertise across Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python and SQL, and strong cloud/Kubernetes experience. Remote/hybrid work and occasional travel are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Comfortable reading, debugging, and extending code in Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems: APIs, event-driven patterns, asynchronous processing, and failure handling.
• Hands-on experience with observability practices - structured logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Experience operating services on cloud infrastructure (Azure or equivalent) with containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• A maintenance-and-reliability mindset: you treat operational health and clean, well-documented code as first-class work.
• Clear communicator who can explain a system or an incident to engineers and non-engineers alike.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Stack Maintenance - Maintain and support services across the full platform and ensure integration.
• Reliability Engineering - Monitor platform health, investigate production issues, and resolve bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Feature Implementation - Design and ship focused features, enhancements, and technical improvements.
• Observability - Extend logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for clear production visibility.
• Performance and scale - Profile and tune components under load and scale the platform.
• Quality - Write tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Incident response - Participate in on-call rotation and lead root-cause analysis for durable fixes.
• Collaboration - Work with delivery pods and Decision Intelligence for long-term ownership.
