Qualifications

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven patterns, and failure handling.
• Hands-on observability practices: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Stack Maintenance: maintain and support services across the full platform and knowledge base.
• Reliability Engineering: monitor platform health, investigate issues, resolve bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Feature Implementation: design and ship focused features and improvements across components.
• Observability: extend logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting for visibility.
• Performance and scale: profile and tune components under load for reliability.
• Quality: write tests, code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
