Job summary

Bluebeam, based in the United States, seeks a Staff Engineer to architect, develop, and scale secure SaaS platform solutions for Studio customers. You will provide technical leadership across design, implementation, and operations while collaborating with Architecture, InfoSec, DevOps, and Product Management to deliver the product vision through a team of engineers.

You are a senior backend expert with 15+ years in high-availability services, 10+ years in AWS cloud, and a track record leading

Qualifications

• 15+ years of backend development experience.
• 10+ years building cloud-based applications on AWS.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams (direct reports preferred).
• Technical lead on multi-year projects with milestones.
• Recent C# (.NET Framework/Core) development.
• Recent Golang experience.
• Strong microservice, containerization, orchestration knowledge.
• Cloud-native AWS solutions expertise.
• PostgreSQL or equivalent relational DB knowledge.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in CI/CD environments.
• Ability to translate requirements into value-add tech solutions.
• Willingness to learn, team-oriented, organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale secure, resilient SaaS platform solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across design, implementation, and operation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on projects.
• Ramp up quickly on complex problems and codebases.
• Collaborate with PM and Architecture to refine requirements into demonstrable apps.
