Job summary

Bluebeam, part of the Nemetschek Group, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead software teams delivering cloud-connected SaaS and single-tenant products.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, drive roadmaps, manage budgets, and collaborate with architects, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualified candidates have 12+ years in the industry, 4+ years of technical leadership, strong AWS experience, IaC and CI/CD, and proficiency in Go, C#, or Python.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in industry with progressive growth in responsibility.
• 4+ years technical leadership and managing teams of 5 or more engineers.
• Strong leadership, high emotional intelligence, detail oriented organizational skills.
• Must have Amazon AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda) and containerized architecture.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code with CI/CD pipelines (Terraform, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in GoLang, C# on .NET, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of REST API and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams throughout software development lifecycle.
• Recruits, mentors, coaches, retains and inspires engineers and tech leads.
• Sets and tracks goals and objectives for team members.
• Participates in expense approval and budget planning.
• Solves complex problems and clears roadblocks across technical and human factors.
• Executes meetings with stakeholders to drive quality decisions.
• Collaborates with architects, product delivery managers, product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver excellence.
