Job summary

Bluebeam, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the development of cloud-connected SaaS and single-tenant products. You will lead teams through the software lifecycle, mentor engineers, and drive goals while coordinating with architects, product managers, and QA to deliver excellence.

This hands-on leader will shape technical direction, manage budgets, and promote a culture of collaboration, growth, and inclusion across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in industry with progressive growth in responsibility.
• 4+ years in technical leadership and managing teams of 5+ engineers.
• Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, detail-oriented organizational skills.
• Growth-minded leader with ability to embrace change and learn quickly.
• AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda) and containerized architecture.
• Infrastructure as code with CI/CD pipelines (Terraform and Jenkins).
• Strong skills in GoLang, C#/.Net, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of REST API and web technologies (HTTPS, CORS, Postman, JSON, XML).
• Familiarity with cloud-native tech and cloud transformation.

Responsibilities

• Leads team(s) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recruits, mentors, coaches, retains, inspires engineering ICs and tech leads.
• Sets and tracks goals and objectives for each team member.
• Participates in expense approval and budget planning.
• Solves problems and clears roadblocks crossing technical and human factors.
• Attends meetings to present facts for quality decisions.
• Communicates clearly and provides 360-degree feedback.
• Collaborates with architects, tech leads, product delivery managers, product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver excellence.
