Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to be the accountable technical owner from purchase to stable production, turning complex challenges into scalable, repeatable solutions across customer environments.

As part of the Technical Services team, you will drive production readiness, activation, and long-term technical health while enabling customer success and accelerating growth through strong collaboration with Professional Services, Support, and Partners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software or solutions engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and reliability principles.
• Experience building and operating production-scale systems.
• Ability to guide customers through technical resolution and adoption.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own production readiness and activation for customer deployments.
• Drive first production workflow and reduce time-to-production.
• Establish guardrails and best practices for reliability and upgrades.
• Make customer teams and Temporal SDK experts.
• Set up alerting to catch issues early.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with services, support, partners.
• Manage technical risk and migrations.
• Monitor health signals and ensure production readiness.
• Translate production success into renewal opportunities.
