Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead daily donor center operations and staff on a continuing basis. This role requires strong leadership, strict adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with the Center Manager and Quality team to ensure donor safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee scheduling, inventory, and performance metrics while promoting a culture of safety and exceptional donor experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer certifications preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift leader when Center Manager is absent and supervise donor center staff.
• Oversee donor operations, provide shift leadership, scheduling, and coaching.
• Create staff schedules aligned with donor cycles.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchase orders.
• Keep Center Manager informed and propose corrective actions for center deficiencies.
• Support daily operation plans to hit throughput, quality, and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with Quality team to resolve deviations in real-time.
• Monitor donor flow and address delays to ensure a positive donor experience.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and SOP requirements.
• Maintain documentation and reports; ensure equipment is kept in good order.
• Assist Center Manager with center activities and Training.
