Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced environmental permitting specialist to lead midstream and energy transition projects nationwide. You will manage FERC-related permits, coordinate with agencies, and develop strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of relevant experience, strong written and oral communication, and a track record of delivering regulatory submissions with attention to detail. Hybrid/remote work options available across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years work experience in a similar position.
• Minimum of 5 years direct experience preparing, managing and authoring FERC permit applications.
• Experience with Threatened & Endangered Species, Sections 404/10, Coastal Zone Management Act, and Section 106 Resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition initiatives across the US.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
