Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced environmental permitting professional to lead oil & gas midstream projects and energy-transition initiatives across the United States. The role focuses on obtaining permits, coordinating with agencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work within a team of biology, engineering, and environmental specialists, driving client relationships and technical excellence in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Environmental Science or related field; 7+ years in similar roles preferred.
• Experience preparing and managing FERC permit applications where required by agencies.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, 404/10, CZMA and Section 106 processes and related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting and energy transition projects across the U.S.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination related to regulatory requirements.
• Develop client relationships and support proposal development.
