Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced professional to lead permitting for oil & gas midstream projects and energy transition initiatives across the US. The role involves coordinating with agencies, preparing permit applications, and driving client engagement.

The candidate should have 7+ years in similar roles, with strong FERC experience, and a track record of delivering regulatory submissions while balancing a heavy workload in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pipeline projects and leading complex permitting efforts.
• FERC and NEPA requirements knowledge and processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and client relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition initiatives.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for relevant regulations (Threatened and Endangered Species, Section 404/10, CZMA, Section 106).
• Develop client relationships and contribute to proposal development and business opportunities.
