Job summary

Stantec is seeking an exceptionally talented individual to lead permitting for oil & gas midstream and energy transition projects across the United States. The role emphasizes FERC-regulated pipelines, NEPA processes, and regulatory coordination, with a strong focus on client engagement and delivering technically sound submissions.

The position is remote-flexible with a hybrid option in the United States, offering opportunities to collaborate across fluid teams and multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pipeline projects and FERC-regulated work.
• Direct experience preparing and managing FERC permit applications.
• Experience with Threatened and Endangered Species, Sections 404/10, CZMA and Section 106.
• Strong communication skills and client relationship capability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for midstream permitting and energy transition projects in the US.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create and review technical documents for regulatory submissions.
• Support and implement HSE policies and coordinate with HSE professionals.
