Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks an experienced professional with a strong background in permitting oil and gas midstream and energy transition projects.

The role focuses on managing FERC-regulated permit processes, regulatory coordination, and preparing complex documentation across the US. The position emphasizes collaboration with environmental specialists, adherence to HSSE standards, and building durable client relationships while supporting multiple projects within Stantec's Gulf

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of work experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience preparing, managing and authoring FERC permit applications.
• Experience with Threatened and Endangered Species, Sections 404/10, CZMA and Section 106 considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition projects across the US.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination related to regulatory requirements (Endangered Species, 404/10, CZMA, Section 106).
• Develop and maintain client relationships and assist in business development and proposals.
• Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
• Support implementation of HSSE policies and coordinate with HSE professionals.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists to ensure consistency in project execution.
• Contribute to multiple projects and offices nationwide as part of a larger team.
