Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication, writing, analytical, and organizational skills with a positive attitude and ability to work independently or in teams.
• Commitment to health & safety and participation in related programs.
• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5-7 years pipeline design experience, either consulting or operating company.
• EIT registration; PE preferred.
• Knowledge of liquids and gas design codes and regulations (e.g., 49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4/31.8, AWWA M11).
• Familiar with Pipeline Toolbox, AutoPIPE/CAESAR II, PipeFLO, AFT Impulse; CAD tools as listed.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field and office work and operate vehicles for the company.
• Collaborate with multidiscipline engineers on pipeline design across lifecycle phases (planning to deactivation).
• Provide routing studies support, stress analysis, and mechanical design for liquid, gas, and slurry pipelines.
• Coordinate field investigations and surveys to support design.
• Coordinate engineering and survey services for ROW acquisition needs.
• Prepare cost estimates, bid summaries, and project funding documents.
• Support project delivery with client interface and QA procedures.
• Develop permit package documents for pipeline projects.
• Prepare/ review technical reports, drawings, calculations, and client correspondence.
• Maintain client relationships through meetings and progress reports.
