WSP USA Inc is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our Chicago office, with consideration for multiple Midwest locations. The role focuses on designing pipeline systems for liquids, gas and slurry and coordinating with multi-discipline teams to span the pipeline lifecycle.

You will engage in field and office work, support routing studies, code compliance, client communications, and project documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5–7 years of pipeline design experience, either in consulting or operating environments.
• EIT required, PE preferred.
• Familiarity with pipeline design codes and regulations (49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4/B31.8, AWWA M11).

• Safely perform field and office work and operate vehicles for the company.
• Design pipeline systems across lifecycle (planning, FEED, routing, permitting, detail design, procurement, construction, deactivation).
• Provide engineering support for routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical design of liquid, gas, and slurry pipelines.
• Coordinate site walks, surveys, environmental/geotechnical investigations to support design.
• Prepare cost estimates, bid summaries, and project documentation.
• Interact with clients and maintain positive client relationships.
• Ensure project delivery per company procedures and quality plans.
