Job summary

WSP USA Inc. seeks a Senior Pipeline Engineer to work from Chicago, IL, with consideration for multiple U.S. locations including OH, MI, IN, TX, FL and others. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver pipeline projects in mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

Your role involves planning, FEED, route selection, permitting, detail design, procurement, and field support, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of pipeline design experience in consulting or operating company.
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• Familiar with liquids and gas design codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline design across lifecycle from planning to deactivation.
• Support routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical design.
• Coordinate field investigations and right-of-way support.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical reports.
• Travel up to 25% as project demands.
