Job summary

WSP USA Inc is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to work from our Chicago, IL office, with consideration for other U.S. locations. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver pipeline solutions for mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

Responsibilities include design across lifecycle, stress analysis, field investigations, and client communication, with travel up to 25%. Strong safety focus and ABET-credentialed engineers are preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5–7 years pipeline design experience.
• EIT required, PE preferred.
• Knowledge of liquids/gas design codes and regulations.
• Familiar with pipeline design software.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field and office work; operate vehicles as needed.
• Collaborate on pipeline system design across lifecycle stages.
• Support routing, stress analysis, and mechanical design of pipelines.
• Coordinate field investigations and surveys for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, bids, and client communications.
• Manage project delivery per company quality plans.
