Job summary

WSP USA Inc is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our Chicago-area office, with consideration for multiple Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Illinois locations. You will work with global engineers to deliver pipeline solutions across mining, oil & gas, and water sectors.

You will perform field and office duties, lead cross-discipline design, support routing studies and permit packages, and manage project delivery while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited program in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of pipeline design experience in consulting or operating company roles.
• EIT required; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform field and office work and operate vehicles as needed.
• Design pipeline systems across lifecycle: planning, FEED, route selection, permitting, detailed design, procurement, construction, and deactivation.
• Provide engineering support for routing studies, stress analysis, and mechanical design of liquid, gas, or slurry pipelines.
