Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. in the Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join the team and support pipe stress analyses, design, and documentation for process and utility piping systems in nuclear projects. This role offers opportunities across multiple U.S.

offices, including Baton Rouge, LA, with potential remote work for select assignments. The selected candidate will bring 15+ years of piping design and pipe stress experience, a PE license, and strong ASME III knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years in design of mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
• Significant ASME Section III Class 1 Fatigue design experience.
• Proficient with pipe stress analysis software: AutoPIPE, ME 101, Peps PIPESTRESS, Caesar II, Tpipe, NuPipe, SuperPipe, ADL Pipe.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support design for process and utility piping in nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
• Prepare documentation of pipe stress analyses and support designs.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural groups on supports and isometrics.
• Produce engineering drawings, calculations, and analyses per codes and client procedures.
• Provide leadership, peer reviews, and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Support procurement and project management activities as needed.
