Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join the Nuclear Services Group. You will prepare documentation of pipe stress analyses and support design for process piping and utility piping systems on nuclear projects, with offices in Kennesaw, GA and other U.S.

locations. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of pipe stress experience, plus AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, and ME 101 proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in design of mechanical piping systems and pipe stress analysis.
  • Proficiency with AutoPIPE, ME 101 and PIPESTRESS; strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
  • Strong writing, presentation and communication skills; able to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support design for process and utility piping on nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
  • Prepare complete, error-free engineering documentation (drawings, calculations, instructions) per codes and client procedures.
  • Review and sign-off piping isometrics for flexibility and support loads; coordinate with Civil/Structural teams.
  • Provide peer and technical reviews and engage with clients to ensure design quality.
