Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead phlebotomy services and a team of up to 35 staff across PSCs, IOPs, and mobile sites.

Reporting to Territory Manager, you will supervise daily operations, drive staffing, onboarding, coaching, budgeting, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with SOPs and quality standards. Travel 1–2 days per month to oversee territory operations and ensure high-quality patient service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years' experience in phlebotomy, laboratory or health care environment.
• QMS/Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Customer service in a service environment.

Responsibilities

• In absence of Territory Manager, acts in an acting capacity to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of all Phlebotomy Services in territory.
• Works closely with the Territory Manager during onboarding of new supervisors; provides peer mentorship and guidance to all newly hired supervisors.
• Coaching/mentoring and project facilitation/execution based on territory/region needs.
• Travels/visits territory at least 1-2 days per month.
• Participates in interview and selection process for all territory supervisors.
• Assists Territory Manager to drive Everyday Excellence and fiscal responsibilities of the department.
• Implements SOPs for phlebotomy services in accordance with Quest Diagnostics guidelines.
