Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks an experienced supervisor to manage day-to-day operations across multiple phlebotomy sites. You will lead staff, ensure SOP adherence, and coordinate with QA and medical leadership to maintain high-quality patient services.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety, budget discipline, and continuous improvement across facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
• Minimum five years’ experience in phlebotomy, laboratory or related environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, healthcare or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all facilities, PSCs, mobile and in-office phlebotomy.
• Implement SOPs for phlebotomy services and ensure QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure licensure compliance and coordinate with QA and Medical Director's offices.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, overtime, and budget considerations.
• Hire, train, coach, supervise and develop staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive process improvements.
