Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Supervisor in Columbus, OH, with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours. The role leads Phlebotomy Services across patient service centers, in-office, and mobile sites, managing up to 35 staff and directing onboarding, coaching and performance reviews.

The position emphasizes strong project leadership, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with the Territory Manager to meet fiscal goals and quality standards. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in phlebotomy, laboratory or health care environment.
• Knowledge of QA/Compliance requirements is a plus.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• In absence of Territory Manager, acts to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of all Phlebotomy Services.
• Travels to territory at least 1–2 days per month.
• Coaches and mentors newly hired supervisors and participates in onboarding.
• Manages budget, overtime, and cost containment initiatives.
• Oversees inventory and supervises PSCs/IOPs and mobile phlebotomy sites.
