Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a donor floor operator at our New Jersey center. You will perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures, monitor donor safety, and ensure compliant, clean, and courteous service at all times.

We require a high school diploma (GED accepted) and at least 3 months in a medical setting. You must be able to read and follow protocols, maintain documentation, and work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to perform venipunctures.
• Ability to speak, read, write English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal protocol.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and environment.
• Review donor identification and confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
• Label units and samples accurately; perform venipunctures and plasma collection.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; monitor alarms and donor safety.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure safety and product quality.
• Coordinate QA on donor floor performance and improvement initiatives.
• Assist with inventory, training, and FIFO procedures.
