Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support plasma collection at our New Jersey donation center. You will perform venipunctures, operate plasmapheresis machines, and ensure donor safety and high-quality plasma products.

Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP standards, mentoring staff as needed, and providing exceptional donor experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months’ experience in a medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• Complete training relevant to duties before performing duties independently.
• Ability to read/write/understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform venipunctures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with state/federal regulations to maintain high production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
• Label units and samples accurately.
• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with safety and quality.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
• Maintain donor floor inventory and assist with training as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and perform quality controls.
• Collaborate with QA on donor floor performance and improvements.
